At Daiwa Fishing Shop, we stand behind our saltwater fishing gear with the same confidence you have when battling trophy fish. While we meticulously inspect every reel, rod, lure, and accessory before shipping, we understand that sometimes equipment needs to be returned or exchanged.
Our Return Promise
We offer a 15-day return window from the date you receive your order. All returns must be in original condition – unused, unopened, and with all original packaging and tags intact.
Saltwater-Ready Note: For hygiene and safety reasons, certain terminal tackle items (like hooks and rigs) cannot be returned once opened. All other saltwater fishing gear is eligible for return or exchange.
Return Process
- Initiate Your Return: Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the subject line “Return Request – [Your Order Number]”.
- Provide Details: Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return (see template below).
- Receive Authorization: We’ll email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions within 2 business days.
- Ship Your Return: Package the item securely with the RMA number clearly visible. Ship to:

Exchange Process
Follow the same steps as the return process, clearly stating in your email that you’d like an exchange and specifying the replacement item. We’ll process your exchange once we receive the original item.
Refund Information
- Processing Time: Allow 3-5 business days after we receive your return for refund processing.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
- Deductions: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For free shipping orders over $50, a $12.95 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective saltwater fishing product, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and cover all associated shipping costs.
International Returns
For our international customers (excluding parts of Asia and select remote areas), please note that return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees are the customer’s responsibility. Refunds will be processed in USD.
